Explore the Shore was founded by Heath and Candi Brown, North Carolina natives, who both grew up with a deep love for the water. With Heath's experience as a boat Captain and Candi's background in the medical field, we bring a unique blend of expertise and passion to every tour. Our shared love for the coast and dedication to providing top-notch service inspired us to create Explore the Shore, a company where we could share our favorite places and experiences with others.

• Heath: With his experience as a USCG Master Captain, Heath ensures that every tour is safe, informative, and fun. His knowledge of the local waterways and passion for marine life make him the perfect guide for your adventure. He's a decent DJ too!
• Candi: Candi brings a nurturing touch to every excursion, drawing on her background as a Nurse Practitioner. Her love for the water and expertise in providing a comfortable and welcoming environment make her an invaluable part of our team.

And don't forget about Rubie, our loyal and friendly dog, who sometimes joins us on our tours, adding a special touch to every adventure!
